Intolerant
We are so intolerant of the slightest individualistic variation as a society. I was rudely reminded when I saw a 3 year old perky little girl being labelled as speech challenged and denied admission to a “in-demand” school following a highly competitive entrance interview ! .. and then being sent in for speech and occupational therapy classes ! This was a bright imaginative kid whose only “folly” was that she had difficulty forming full sentences .. Why was that such a huge red flag .. Was it so difficult to understand and accept that part of her brain was still creating connections ...
