 1.      When Mumma told you about her favourite song .. Come away with me ..

and played it on Alexa .. n u were just playing in background so I dint know if u noticed ..
but next day mumma asked just like that cz papa had forgotten yet again ..
N u say simply " Come with me "
It was like my heart was caught in my throat  ! ur papa got an earful that night ... hehe
bcz u pay attention to mumma my sweethrt ..
and thats the biggest gift of love u can give to me

2. How Inaya came over to play with u .. n u were so big brotherly with her .. when she got scared of papas face u cajoled her saying " arey ye to samjho ki wo kuchh nhi karenge "
and then u made her stay n instructed papa to stay inside the room and not scare her anymore

3. Then u went initially reluctantly to her house but then stayed for 4 hours even having dinner wid her .. n u made eagle calls to each other .. n his mom was so charmed by you .. when she offered u chocolate u declined .. saying jab main jaunga tab aap de dena .. she said u were such a great kid to have around and I was just beaming when I heard that ..

4. How u sang " aigiri nandini " perfectly worded and so sweetly ur voice brimming with shyness.. on the eve of Durga Pooja ..

5. How you love going on the rooftop wd papa n sip ur milk or just play wd ur animals .. how u are never shy of the outdoors ..

6.how you were at Papas side during his clinic opening pooja and hawan when mumma couldnt be.. so sincerely doing the ahuti and swaha totally coordinated with papa.. u were really there in spirit ! and lending all ur support

7. Thank you mumma. you chirping in ur early morning voice over the phone . main batata hun na main kyun thnk u kaha .. kyunki aapne mere liye map ka game bheja (, prior to that .. aur maine sab rivers ganga bhramaputra jamuna sab laga di ..
aur desert?desert to ek hi hai na -juhu mumbai me... wahaan sand hai na ..


8. When u played snakes n ladders with papa n he was just one space away from winning .. ur eyes abt to brim over . but then u remind urself that its ok to come second .. n u say " papa mujhe to isse kuchh fark nahi padta" the growing bond between u n papa is just pure n overflowing with love .. you are making ur papa a better man my darling

9. The days  u get a headache at a night when u had fever ..making mumma remember her migraine days ..  and u cried out in pain at night -papa mujhe itta sir dard kyun hota hai .. papa paani ki patti laga do .. u offering us ways to resolve the situation in ur usual tolerant mature way despite being in so much pain

10. How u asked if manna didi aur anjori didi ne dekha aapka hockey goal on skates ... shyly proud of ur achievements when mumma tells u aapne to hairaan kar diya.. although u pretend not to give two pence abt it


11. How you were at Papas side during his clinic opening pooja and hawan when Mumma wasn’t .. so sincerely doing the Ahuti and Swaha .. totally synchronizing with papa n looking at him wid ur cute wide eyes for the next step .. complete involvement !

12. Looking at the google map as car inched closer - papa humari car raste ko kha kyun rahi hai

13. Making shed for cow n horse n even two headsd wolf . then making cow ki gali wd jenga pieces .. n then a bridge that led straight to jurassic park

14. You receiving 3 vaccines and not even a whimper ..how you let papa convinve you  ki sirf guji guji hoga dard nhi hoga .. cz u wanted to be convinced .. n u dint let ur eyes brim over
..  my mature strong lad !

Ajeet’s version -Aekansh is a blessing for both of us. He didnt even complain while he waited in our office in hospital. When i came to see him he junped on me wid joy n then onwards he didnt leave me. I love his company. While we went to Pediatric opd he kept asking me about injection…. I cud see a bit of fear in his eyes however he maintained his calm beautifully. We spoke at length while waiting for vaccines to arrive about how the vaccine will help avoid him getting fever regularly and that he also would avoid getting headaches due to the same. He understood every bit of it and became so happy when i told him that it wud only do guji guji to him. When the time came he sat there with a smile on his charming face holding my hands with a firm belief that papa will always be wid him. I kept talking to him while promila gave him the jabs . It was unbelievable how he took all 3 widout a single drop of tear. This brought tears to my eyes instead. He is GOD sent love. I cuddled him immediately and gave him hundred kisses. I asked him kitni guji guji lagi? He replied “thodi thodi” 
I left him wid govind to take back him home while going to washroom to wash my teary eyes before i went to opd.

20 .How you played continuously for 3 hours straight wd kittens .. mujhe pata tha ye zarur aayengi ! ur exclamation .. then trying to train them stand on two paws while playing wid wool .. ye mastibaaz hai aur ye maha mastibaaz hai

21. My violins shoulder stand was ur eagle ka panja from the very beginning

22.How u cd eat 10 ginger bread cookies at one tym .. how ur so fond of kneading the diugh adding honey .. ur eyes sparkling .. ur culinary senses ablaze .. n then began to cry when papa asked u not to eat so many ..

23. How u chose to be jatayu in ramayan play at school .. n sadrika seeta mayya n sharav was kumbhkaran .. 

24. How u made clay ka mushak ... n placed it near ganesh ji .. n asked me swtly ...mumma aapko clay ka chuha banana seekhna hai ?


25. How u saw the musical sea shell like instrument .. manjeera .
. n said ye to bohot kuchh hai .  ye whale ka muh hai .. ye crocodile ke jaws hain .. ur imagination alight

31. how u sketched the whole diwali scene full of lights n crackers .. n then mumma filled the colours .. n u just looked on from the background... u fein dusinterest but see everything

32. when Papas back was aching n he was lying on diwan straight .  u brought him a pillow ..

34. When u were waiting for manna n. not playing wd nishta n sitting alone in a corner  and asked why not - u said  main soch raha hun ki manna didi aa rahi hai

When ur new ships one of the anchors broke n u were heartbroken wd such a sad face ..mumma tried to explain ship has only one anchor but u werent convinced n then when it was found .. u were delighted...then u wanted it steered on the ship at once .. u asked in ur small worried voice -mumma wo lag jayega na mere ship pe .. while sleeping also u asked in hopeful voice -

36. When we went to kempty falls n mummas bad u slipped in the cold cold water u were shivering badly but still dint want to get out ...then u were brought out but reluctantly .. u went wd govind uncle n drank tea and sunned urself .. later when mumma came u wdnt look at her .looking away with muh foola hua ..   them when mumma asked " aap gussa ho na mumma se .. you just nodded the slightest nod blushing .... then u said ", mujhe isse koi fark nhi padta" .

37. When u told nani to make ginger bread cookies for u ... n said raat ko ye mat bolna ki thak gayi ho ur eyes dancing .. usme chocolate aur ginger aur vanila drops bhi daal dena nani ..
When Nani said maine aapke liye pancake banaya u said aapne kahan banaya wo to maine  banaya hai ..

38. How u would look shyly at papa sideways .. n imitate all his hand movements .. n smile n blush if anyone noticed .. even wen u sat at dinner table u wd imitate him the way he sat the position of his arms across the table .. n papa couldnt stop beaming !

39. How u would scramble in between mumma papa in morning if u found u weren’t in middle

40. How u would lick mummas hand to show ur love .. its such a primal way.   makes me feel adored

41. Turkish ice cream tamasha at mussourie
He asked me later wo aise ulat pulat kyun kar raha tha ice cream ko .. he felt a little  offended
Then u made ur imaginative lores abt how u would grab his stick pull him out of the shop ring the bell "tunn" n grab ur ice cream n go .. n had a marvellous tym imagining n chuckling abt it

42. How u blush wd pleasure wen papa takes u on his shoulders n u start pressing his eyebrows immediately in return .. my sweet angel

43. Mumma papa aap tshirt utaar ke mat sona .. aap sote ho na kabhi kabhi .. making mumma papa squirm .. haha

44. How u made rangoli on diwali bcz manna didi was making as well ...a vorpel of colours !  i loved the riot of colours u created !

45. How u belt out kabir cafe songs with manna didi ,- kya lekar aaya jagat me and "mat kar maya ko ahankar " even doing the instrumental voices.. tanananana na na

46. How on diwali u waited patiently for the stars wala patakha to burst ..  ur eyes gleaming ; a quiet smile on ur face as u watched them when the lantern dint go up into the air u watched forlorn n asked in ur smallish voice – par Papa lantern ...

47. When singing "karpura gauram" in aarti u
would say " par mumma wo to beech me aata hai .. to alag se kyu ga rahe ho .  he meant in between song,"har har shambho "

48. How wen mumma and nani had to go out of the house - so u were alone wid aarti and u just picked ur ukelele n played shiv tandav stotram on alexa and sang along totally alone lost in the music ..mera fakir
. n then later u slept on ur own quietly..never complaining never crying

49. How when mumma told u a story over video call,  u listened so carefully ur eyes wide .

50. You loved listening to ur old stories again n again .. then you would read ur Bob Book in ur sweet voice .. then say thank you mumma .. and if mumma dint return the thank you u'd remind - Mumma aapne thank you nahi bola

51. When u met a didi absorbed in her phone going up to her shyly n asking her name ; then coming back dejected - maine to didi ka naam poochha to inhone kyun nhi poochha ?


52. Aap aur manna kushti kar rahe ho .. manna bringing bow arrow .. arey ye to war hai kushti nhi

53. Once manna had gone home from Dehradun u asking in hopeful voice - arey mumma aap manna didi se mili thi ? wo delhi gayi thi na ! ( so heart breaking )

54. Mumma mera man kar raha hai ki main 6 years ka ho jaun .. pata hai kyu .. kyunki uske baad aap ghar aa jaogi

57. Aekansh was watching swami and friends yest ...theres a series called malgudi days .. its one of my favourite books by r k narayan. .. possibly the most innocent book from a childs point of view ..

58. When u showed some fussiness wid food .. and Mumma Papa sat you down and explained that Anna devta wd feel so bad .. and u first nodded m then burst out crying ... u cant stand being told off  ... my sensitive baby !

59. When u call up in morning going to school in car n mumma says mumma ka class chal raha hai baby .  u say - mumma aap class kar lo .. the wise understanding boy that u are . then I say all the best ! and u say all the best back to me !

60. When I showed u Swami n Friends u asked Mumma swami kahan hai .. aur wo kahan hai jisko ghamand hai

61. Seeing Nanu Nani doing yoga online .. then he asked " mumma ye to bade log hain .. inki class kyu chal rahi hai ! " all perplexed .. ( cz u had to take online classes in school n couldnt understand why bade log wd take them voluntarily )

62. mumma maine tattoo banaya. .kya banwaya ?  dragon .. 

63. Nani ke card me flowers bana do .. main wohi banaunga na mumma jo mujhe pasand hai .. making scary tree and ferocious animals

66. When we went to war memorial n saw the lone guard standing there .. you were transfixed by his motionless stance n then u asked with ur eyes wide - Mumma ye sote bhi nahi hain? then some relief when u heard they change position every 20 mins ..

67. Mumma mujhe aapko kaan me kuchh kehna hai
... pancake banana hai .. then when papa said "yahan nhi" in stern voice u qiietly wept in a corner ( ur usual response to papas daant ) .. and then mumma took u to the kitchen n u listed each item perfectly .. maida sugar eno chocolate vanilla drops milk butter .. aur mumma butter ko garam kar ke mix karna .. ur eyes dancing .. u mixing everything up wid gusto .. then looking on in glee as it took shape on the stove .. then gobbling it all up in 5 mins .. this was one thing u loathed to share !!

When we went to the art theatre fest n u looked so deadpan while hearing the stories .. smhow dint seem like u were listening .. but u later come home n Mumma asks what was ur fav tym there n u ape the story teller " baadmaash byaachhaa " in her Goan accent .. chuckling loudly .. my chhupa rustam

69. Mumma jab subh ho jayegi main aapko guddi gudji karunga ..then going to my knees and tickling me

70. How u qiietly nodded at the water pump among the many activites at the fest .. ur eyes shining as the balloon on top of the bottle deflated n the water spilled out .. u made the same contraption at home wd papa n were so thrilled u told tapas mama to use that only to water plants

How you loved loved loved the upma made by tapas mama... saying Mumma mai ye finish karke aur lunga ..then giving special thanks to tapas mama .. then taking Papa to market n having another plate of upma .. then next day asking mumma aaj breakfast me Upma hai ?then going to Dehradun n immediately asking Nani to make Upma

72. on childrens day u were mildly expectant - Mujhe to papa ne nahi bola happy childrens day .. Nani Nanu ne bhi nhi bola .. ur straight faced expectation aNd then sweet smile at being wished

76. How u convinced urself ki papa kyun nhi hain aapke annual day ke liye .. Cz dadu needs some medicines after his surgery .. unki haddi toot gayi thi na

How you were worried about the stick we picked up in the jungle for "beating naughty kids" .. u kept giving sidelong scared glances and saying it is for the dogs na mumma .. n kept convincing urself it wasn’t for u .. ye bohot zor se lagega na mumma .... then as soon as papa came – “Papa hum aapke liye khana aur laddoo aur " dog ki pitai karne waali stick laaye hain " eagerly ... then asking papa fondly - " papa kaisa laga laddoo ! "

78. After hearing jabberwocky u became animated n told ur own ferocious nonsense poem .. transfixed .. ur eyes rolling from side to side ..ur whole body taut wd the tension of relaying the scary vision

87. we going to cottage industry emporium .. n it being hugely expensive - papa said hum yaha. khareedne nhi bas dekhne aaye hain .. n that really stuck ! so wen u saw any animal figurine u liked - ud gaze at it fondly pick it up then place it back - " mumma hum sirf dekhne aaye hain, kharidenge nahi" ur face determined

88. You seeing the nataraj form .. asking why his hand posture were like thst ...then coming back home - promptly asked for pen n paper -,Drew Shiva wd all his jataye flying .. n then drew him in natya mudra .  wid 7 serpents.. n Papa ne bola multicolour banana to u dutifully made his jatayein into 3 different colours

89. You just living the jabberwocky poem .. delighting mumma no end .. n almost memorizing it in 2 days .. then "mujhe jabberwock khelne do mumma" and going into a trance ..
then when I told you the story of dances with wolves - asked him what his " sieux name shd be .. " growl like a lion " or " jaguar .. he replies promptly - Nahi im jabberwock !!!

90. You bringing the most beautiful roses for mumma each tym u come to delhi.. u wont let papa forget .. so ill alws hv those pretty flowers beaming at me wen i get back home .. n then ur customary 2 ice creams per day n chocolate pastry at evergreen ! i love how papa indulges u at tyms n how u quasi-worship him

91. How u watched Wizard of Oz with Mumma in great delight ..  these moments are so precious when I relieve the classics thru ur sparkling eyes
